K any gamer (or practically anyONE) knows about the console war and the three platforms out. And I just want to know who's for what, why, and such.
I personally have always loved Nintendo. And their new Wii is amazing. Who can beat motion censored game playing with the Wiimote and the nutchuk? Not to mention it is the smallest of the three, meaning it'll be the easiest to bring places.
As for the games, the Zelda series is the BEST series of games to come out since Mario. Sure, Halo still pwns, but Link is right therewith it, and their new game Twilight princess is sick. Combind great graphics, the ability to turn into a wolf, and the motion sensoring controllers and you have an a pawning game.
Now, the main package every Wii fan wants is Wii sports which includes; Baseball, boxing, tennis, bowling, and golf. Being able to swing a bat, hit a golfball, plat like actual tennis and golf all in one with the motion censoring, AWSOME!!! Not to mention it's all 3-dish.
Metriod Prime 3: Corruption. Not much to say about this game. Looks pretty sick nasty and my friend is obsessed with it. However, I haven't got the chance to try it out myself.
Madden NFL 2007. C'mon if you don't love the Maddens, ur crazy.
Blitz: The League And this game's even better than Madden. Who doesnt love violence , blood, and football all put together in one package?
And finally but mainly, SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL!!!! IT'S GOT SNAKE!!!!! and Pit and Meta knight and both zero suit and regular samus and wario. WHO CAN FART!!! PLUS MARIO (my character!!!) and others ARE BACK!!!Super smash brothers is the best game next to link yet. end of story. And I pwn at it. And button smashers SUC!!!!!

I've been playing Nintendo since I was like... 4. God... Yah, I haven't got the Wii yet, but I'm getting it eventually. Nintendo has always been in my heart, ya know? I remember playing Rush with my dad, even the graphics were really crappy compared to today's works.

To explain my obession of Nintendo is like explaining my devotion to RPing, expect multiplyed by the amount of members we have.
I have a Nintendo Wii...and stayed in line for it on November 19th (American launch date). It's one of the best things I've ever purchased, and it's truley something for the hardcore and the non gamer...and of course everything in between.
It's hard to explain, picking up the wii remote and swinging it as a tennis racket...it was exactly like the real thing...or as close as you can get.
Zelda is the best single player experience I've ever played, so perfect. I'm only 1/8 of the way through the game and I've already played it for near 25 hours...thats showing how large this game is.
bluntly put it's awesome.
Xbox 360 is a solid gaming system for the conservatives...but after playing the wii with it's intuitive control...I could never go back to analog sticking gun and sword movements. And a GAme like Red steel would be non existant if it weren't for the amazingness of the controls.
PS3 sucks, unless your rich and would like Xbox 360 graphics for 200 hundred dollars more. In some cases it has been said that their even worse than 360 graphics...and thats saying something. Plus the online isn't as good, and it's really confusing.
Nintendo Wii starting in January will allow you to go on the internet (if you have a wireless or hardwire connection) and surf the web. I can actually RP and check on the site from my Wii, now that is just awesome. The nintendo Wifi online service hasn't been launched yet, but it's due for around January as well, and nintendo has put...that it will rival even the monster Xbox live.
That sounds promising, and mixed with the beastness of the controls Wii has brought alive near dead genres like racing and FPS games, making them so surrounding that I'm afriad to even play my guitar loud when my friends sneaking up on an enemy.
GET THE WII

NO WAY!!! Wii ONLINE !!! like that's fuckin amazing. I didn't kno bout that feature. Aw sick nasty! That just puts the icing on the cake. Really. *sighs in unbelievibility for nitendo.* Nitendo rules the world. My first game was on the SuperNitendo (ya member those ;D) My first mario game. I fell in love. I currently own a broken supernitendo, a working Nitendo 64, an amazin Gamecube, anda sick X-box for the halo online gaming and DDR mainly.
Something else I have to say about the other two consles, is that they're just copies really. Upgraded copies of the original Consles; X-box, and PS. But Nitendo has come outwith something entirely new.
Also, for the PS3, their cheap feeling controlers don't have rumble. What's up with that?? I mean really. Sure they;re light and all, but I'd give up that for rumble and motion sensoring anyday.
~Kaji, U HAVE ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS *glares in envy* that is my number one launch game on my list! How's the motion sensoring with the nutchuk fir the sword movements and the whole wolf turning into feature? Also, ptsh, only 1/8th way into the game after 25, 25!! HOURS!!! gee, u must be a slow player. *smirk* it took me that long to BEAT majoras mask. However, they did a much better job with Zelda WW.

I have been waiting on pins and needles for my own Wii (Instead of saving up for months and then getting to Toys-R-Us at 6 in the morning like Kaji, I'm asking for it for Christmas.), and so I've been reading Kaj's Nintendo Power Magizine. And that's making the waiting worse, I think. The Nintendo Wii also has little custom characters called 'Mii's, a place for storing photos, and a channel for keeping up with the news and weather reports. And it has internet. So, it'll be replacing just about every other electronic in my house. Hurrah for an access to the internet that my parents won't think of taking away!
The PS3 took a real gamble on their systems, and I don't think it's paying off as well as they thought it would. By making their systems so limited, they're forcing their normal gamers to switch to other consoles in the mean time- and once they get on the Wii, I don't think they'll care much for the PS3.
The Xbox 360 make a good choice in comming out earlier than the rest. It's already making good money, and it gives them time to develop newer and better games. However, the Xbox 360 is only for the real gamers. In Halo, you have to use both control sticks to move you player along, as well as manipulating the buttons to attack. In other words, a third hand seems nessessary for game play. Or maybe it's just like that for Halo n00bs like me.
All in all, the Nintendo Wii came up with some great gamesm and added that along with new, inovated technology. Adding that to all it's features, as well as how much fun it is for non-gamers, it's a guarenteed win. The PS3 made some real gambles, and it hasn't payed off, as far as I can tell. And the Xbox is good, but just won't draw near as much attention.
And, Zana? Kaji isn't a slow player. At all. The game play was over 80 hours for the people who MADE the game. And that's not including all the mini games you can immerse yourself into. Do not mess with Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Heh, Sony is losing money with every PS3 they sell...a sad feat really. Oh, and I have to explain why the Sixaxis control doesn't have rumble.
Sony says that it would interfere with their "Amazing Motion sensing technology" Which is laggy, pretty much just a tilt function (completly different from the full infared 3-D motion sensing of the Wii), and complete scramble to make it more innovative (which it's not, simply a copy). However, the Wii remote has rumble, and boasts one of the best rumble systems I've every experienced. If your low on health in Red steel or zelda, the remote lets out the faintest pulse of rumble, mimicing a racing heart beat. Other little things like that make it even more immersive.
Well it all starts like this, a company developed rumble technology before Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. It's console never saw the light of day, but they Trademarked it before the N64 even. Now it filed a law suite (desperate for money I presume) against the three gaming Giants. Nintendo and Xbox decided to pay royalties to the company, but of course Sony decided to fight the case. They ended up losing, and now there systems are to be completely absent of ruble...FOREVER! Unless they strike a deal with the company.
Now, Microsofts fanbase is what? North american teenagers, thats what. Europe, Japan? They could care less about microsoft. With that said, their games are 60% War games, where you run around in ops and blow up Nazi's. Now I'm not saying that wasn't fun the first few times around, but with basic analog controls...Xbox's games are getting, well boring. With just a few titles keeping the system alive, Gears of war, Halo 3. Sure they've gotten a head start, but they've only sold 8 million systems. While It's the Wii's 3rd week out and they've well past the 1.2 million mark. However implant one of those Nazi killling war games with Wii controls and it's instant fun! Throwing grenades and ducking while avoiding bullet fire is brought alive with the Wii mote...and dead genres are very much alive, such as the Need for speed series.
Direct quote from Iwata, president of Nintendo. "Although we're not trying to compete with the PS3...for the record, we sold 4 times more systems"
Once you swing that Remote, and Link slices through a Goblin while issuing a combo, striking down enemys with a remote controlled bow, anhialating enemies with a Katana, Star wars light saber wielding, sports games completly alive, racing games (with optinal wheel shell) so much fun, and even fighting games (DBZ got a 9 out of 10)...you'll never want to go back to pressing a button to issue an attack. And their's the classic controller, incase you DO want to press a button instead, like for SSMB brawl.
Now the Kaji luck kicks in again, Most of my friends camped out at wal mart or target to get their hands on the wii...and ended up returning empty handed...while I, rolling out of a warm bed at 6 in the morning wandered over to Toys R us...and snacthed up a wii after waiting 4 hours in line, pure perfection.
Zelda is amazing, so great, so much more alive than any Cube rendition. 80 hours of gameplay is momentous for a single player, (Gears of war only boasts about 8). Swinging the remote is completly natural...and although I never thought I would say it...
Ocarina of time, your reign is over.

Ya Duh Kid. ;D Of course not,I was just being my funny usual self. It sounds amazing, when I tied it a game stop it was amazing. Wii sports though unfortunately. NO ONE has them where I am. Not even kidding. And I know, about the rumble. Mircroseft is the number 1 loser company. I've never really liked them and their idiot move of FIGHTING the case makes themselves look only worse. The only slightly real competition in the war that Nintendo should look out for is Sony.
However you know what I'd like to see? A game like the perfect GTA series for the Wii. YOU KNOW HOW SWEET THAT WOULD BE! You'd get to drive around with the the Wiimote wheel shell and then hit cops and stuff with a baseball bat or shoot them with the "Zapper"also known as the Wii's wielding gun. Then once you've done that, make them get into their car and chase you, only so you can go off a jump and watch them crash! Sick nasty right there. Ya in case you didn't guess, I'm a huge fan of GTA.
OMG what if they came out with like a wii sword thing like a motion sensoring Katana! Sick nasty as well.
on a last note for this post. haha Kid's a Halo n00b. *snicker* Halo 2 is one of the best games to come out for Xbox and I love it. Really. I'm personally pretty good at it and make for a fair teammate. It's a good game. Yeah.

You know, Zana, that the game 'Red Steel' features katana fighting. Guns, sword, and the Japanese equivlant of the mafia. Kaji has it, the lucky dog.

I have seen Kaj play Red Steel It is not as you or your friend say Zana-chan Red Steel is a non-stop action ride, with realistic graphics and fun gameplay IT is really a triumph for all die hard Wii fans, because it takes the Wiimote's "In the Game" fun and unleashes it with a raw fury Kaj will probably say "Your Friend doesn't know what the He** he's talking about" The point of the story is: The Wii is a fun system and Red Steel is a great way for Nintendo to Dabue the realistic graphics and easy first person controls that put you in the game ;D

Okay, Kazuma has this in her C-box link, but I have to post it. www.wiihaveaproblem.comAll the Wii related accidents that have occured because of either not wearing the wristband, or wearing it and having the thing snap. And, despite the thousands of dollars that the Wii have caused in property damage, I still vote for it.

Your friend doesn't know what the **** he's talking about...
Red steel is fun, no matter what those nit picking reviewers say. It does have a learning curb, and takes a while for you to get the hang of. But thats just it! Most games require your in game character to get better. But in red steel, YOU actually get better...and before you know it...you'll be honing your sword and gun skills to get the best of the mafia.
It's fun, no doubt...It's got a solid plot line, good music, and despite it's shortcomings in terms of ease of play (which you eventually develop, believe me...I'm picking off headshots far easier than with an analog stick)...It's still a really fun game to play.
Oh and that wrist strap crap..most of it is fake...
I still have the original strap, and it holds up fine. I've pulled it as hard as I could, and it wouldn't break. So I don't understand how these gamers are lauching their remotes to give people black eyes...they must be stupid or something. I guess they can't prevent idiocy in some people...and although they've gone through the measures of replacing straps...mine works fine.

*Laughs* I have a friend who got the Wii and Red Steel, and he says he plays nothing but the game. He hasn't touched his PS2 for the longest time, when he used to stay on it every hour of the day, even with his X-Box 360. And I'm begging my grandma to get me the game, and the reviews I saw in GI were pretty good. Plus, what I picked up on You-Tube. And personally, all that crap about stuff breaking, mostly its people trying to get money off of something. I don't think it's really anything more. Either that, or trying to get attention... But whatever. *Shrugs* I don't give a crap. I'm still voting for Nintendo, no matter if the remote has a problem or not.
I laughed my ass off that Youtube video, though.
