Long ago, over a thousand years ago, there was a man. His name was Kurosaki Ichigo. He was once a normal everyday student. However, one day, his life changed when he became a Shinigami, thanks to one Kuchiki Rukia. During the few months he spent with Rukia, he gathered more and more friends who also had spiritual powers, amongst whom included Ishida Uryu, Yasutora Sado and Inoue Orihime.
After Rukia was captured and set to be executed, this small group made it's first impact on the spiritual world by challenging the Soul Society itself in an attempt to save Kuchiki Rukia. Over time, it was revealed soon after Rukia was saved that the one behind her execution was 5th Division's Captain, Sousuke Aizen. Aizen managed to steal the Hougyoku, which was hidden within Rukia's soul by Urahara Kisuke, and escaped to Hueco Mundo, where he assembled an Arrancar army.
Not long after this, Kurosaki Ichigo and his friends were once again on the front lines as they stormed Hueco Mundo to save their friend, Inoue Orihime, from Aizen. After defeating a few Espada only to have the tables turned on them, hope arrived in the form of 4 Gotei 13 Captains who, in turn, defeated some of the Espada. However, this hope was soon crushed as Aizen trapped them in Las Noches and travelled to Karakura Town to create the Ouken.
What he did not expect however was the remaining Gotei 13 Captains ready to fight him in an artificial, fake Karakura Town. Thus, the war began between the Espada and the Gotei 13. In the end, the Soul Society won but with major losses, including the lives of several Captains. And thus, the world was at peace again.
However, 1000 years later, a new Espada has been formed with Las Noches rebuilt. And not only that, but the Arrancar are now teaming up with the Vaizard to take down Soul Society. The spirit world is on the verge of war again with the new generation of the Gotei 13 at threat, and the battle ground is in the Human World! Who will win? Who will lose? All this will be decided in the battle to come!
