This is the flower shop the Yamanaka family operates in the Leaf Village.

(Let's see if I can execute a good training sequence ala Rocky, yes?)
The Sand Genin lugged her training aid out of the back door of the house across from the Flower Shop back entrance in an midvillage alley. The wooden dummy, scarred from sand, kunai, and shuriken hits, was a gift from her parents, something she had sardonically named 'Gaara'. She talked to it sometimes, venting if she let her mind wander. The clock read 9:23 am.
"You be careful, Miss Ashita. I don't want you to over do it before dinner again," came the concerned voice of Mrs. Urimeshi from the open doorway, a friend of her mother's she had stayed with these last few years. The girl worried her at times...
"I won't," promised Hokori over her shoulder, hanging the dummy from a stout treebranch with a grunt, its feet just brushing the ground. There. That was it. Ready to start learning this Donto Kenkaze Jutsu. She closed the door with a click, took out the scroll and lay it on a nearby crate, scanning it one last time. "Okay. I can do this. Easy," she muttered, focussing on a sand bag, and gathering chakra for the Jutsu.
Clock reading 10:31 AM, the dummy was untouched, Hokori sweating and frowning under her unraveling bun. This was not going well... She was missing something basic, some starter trick. "Gaara," she monotoned at at the dummy, "stop smiling. I'll get this yet." One dive at the scroll latter, the Sand Genin tried again.
Clock reading 12:05 PM, Hokori's face and clothing were leaking blood from a dozen small cuts, sand in her hair. It was easy enough to get going after you learned the trick, but she kept pumping too much chakra into it and the tornado reversed, engulfing her before she could disapate it.
Clock reading 3:40 PM, Hokori tiredly made the motions for the Jutsu again, tapping the dredges of her chakra. One. Two. Three. Four. Go. A wind picked up, gathering sand from the alley floor into a funnel which homed for 'Gaara' like a storm of death, scratching at the construct and tree before she disapated it. "Heh," she whispered, "I almost got it. How nice." Then her knees buckled, the Sand Genin falling limply on her side, breathing lightly.

She had always loved Cosmos flowers. Not only were they the prettiest flowers in the fall, they were some of the easiest to press and dry out. And she had always likened herself to them. She didn't mean to be arrogant, it was just true. Ino was a flower that everyone recognized when they saw, and she knew she was pretty enough to live up to it. She was no idiot either; idiot's didn't graduate as the highest scoring kunoichi from the academy, now did they? Idiot's didn't make it so far into the Chuunin Exams.
That was why, when work was off, training was over, and she wasn't out in the village with her stupid boys, she was surrounded with the pink petals of the autumn sakura blossoms. Like their meaning, 'peaceful', the loud and boisterous Ino was often silent as she worked. Her flower press was built into one of the tables in the garden, allowing her to work surrounded by beauty. Gently laying the blotting paper into its slot, she selected a flower, examining it. With the ease of practice, she laid it upon the paper, tilting it so it would not press strangely. The pink, yellow, red, and white cosmos were added until she had several papers worth of flowers in her press. Gently resting the top atop her small tower of paper and flowers, she secured the top with heavy bolts. Tightening it, she ran a hand over the carved wood and gave a little grin. These would turn out quite nicely. Rising from the work bench, she dusted her hands off on her apron. Judging by the angle of the setting sun, it couldn't be much later than...oh, say three, four?
She hadn't eaten yet today. Actually, she hadn't eaten in a couple of days. Her new diet...Ino's stomach grumbled, and she begrudgingly rose to her feet, flipping her blonde hair over her shoulders. Well, fine. She'd go out to eat (Mom was on a mission, and Daddy was doing border patrol) then. Wandering into the shop, she hung up her apron and quickly freshened up, before pulling on her sandals and heading out into the afternoon sun. Locking the door behind her, Ino frowned. She could sense chakra near by...a lot of it being used. Silent, she heard something hit the ground. She followed the thump to its source with ease, and blinked at the sight she saw.
"Hey, hey--!" Ino bustled over, her critical eyes examining the...genin? Ino didn't recognize this girl. But...the upturned hourglass... Suna... Ino was no medic, not like forehead girl, but she dabbled in a little bit of everything. She could harness her chakra in ways that forehead girl could only dream of...but I digress. The point was, even Ino could see this was chakra exhaustion. Breathing a sigh, Ino slipped the girls arms about her shoulder, and began to trek back to the flower shop.
"I better be getting a free lunch out of this," Ino grumbled.

(Hmmm, two problems. One, Hokori wears a Leaf headband, having 'defected' from Sand after the death of her sister. Two, this training post is technically in the 'past', although the timestream is so tortured in Konoha that I suppose it wouldn't hurt to play out a flashback in the flower shop, Hokori attempting to bustle back home once awake. Shall we roleplay, Ino-pig?)
Hokori stirred slightly when Ino started lugging her, the scent of flowers catching in her nostrils. The Sand Genin wrinkled her forehead underneath her unraveling bun, a few strands dangling to her midback. Wasn't she supposed to be training? She'd gotten it... A wave of numbness washed over Hokori, remaining chakra spreading itself out.

[[Whoops! Sorry sweetie, I didn't catch that ^^; Let's just pretend my previous post works out then ;D HAHAHAHA~ -sweatdrop-]]
Ino grumbled as she realized she had locked the door, and shifting the surprisingly heavy (that free lunch is starting to become mandatory for this brats survival) genin across her shoulders, fiddled with her keys. After a few moments, the door was open and her traps were dismantled. Shuffling into the shop, she moved to the backroom, dropping the girl unceremoniously on a spare futon (one usually reserved for when Daddy went out drinking with the boys and Mom wouldn't let him in the bedroom). Cracking her back, Ino knelt down, taking the girls temperature and checking her vitals. Everything checked out...good! Ino might have been dabbling in basic medical jutsu, but that didn't mean she was good at saving lives or anything. She could heal basic sprains, but she used too much chakra... Ino shook her head. She was digressing. Horribly. God she was hungry. Dashing to her room, Ino hunted through the impeccably organized drawers of her desk, hunting... Aha! "Thank you Chou-kun, I owe you one," Ino kissed the bag in joy, twirled around, and dashed back to the backroom. Really, Chouji gave the best gifts. Soldier pills were useful little pick-me-ups, as Ino had discovered on one late-night mission some months ago. Returning to the futon, Ino pried the girls jaw open, and shoved a few of the pills in. No, she's not very delicate or graceful. She's hungry and prone to anger. Cut her some slack. ):

(Heh. Flashback ahoy!)
Hokori stirred to consiousness with a groan, feeling returning to her limbs with a painful crackle. Desert! That hurt... What..? She pushed herself upright, blinking at the room she found herself in. Slowly gathering her thoughts, she looked at the blonde Genin kneeling above her. "You're that blonde who always fought over Sasuke with the pink-haired girl, aren't you? Where am I?"

Ino smirked in triumph and unconsciously patted the bag of soldier pills, silently thanking Chouji. She'd take him out to dinner sometime. Wait, no, scratch that. How about she'd just bake him cookies...wait, no, she couldn't cook nearly as well as him. She'd...not tease him about his weight for a day? And give him some herbs? Yeah, that was feasible. Mostly. Yes. The point was, she was at least planning on being nice, so shouldn't that be enough?
"You're that blonde who always fought over Sasuke with the pink-haired girl, aren't you?" A pause. Ino twitched slightly. Taking a deep breath, she spoke in a sickly sweet voice.
"Yes," Ice hung thick in the air. "That'd be me. Just call me Ino. No need for such a long and unflattering title, hmm?" ESPECIALLY AFTER I JUST DRAGGED YOUR BUTT INTO MY HOME, RAAAGH! Ino seethed in her mind. Ranting done, she smiled perkily and stuffed the bag of soldier pills in her pouch.
"The back-room of the Yamanaka Flower Shop. I figured you'd rather wake up on a futon than a dusty street...ah, what's your name?"

Tenten walked into the flower shop. She was think about maybe finding a flower just out of her pure interest. 'Maybe I could give it to Neji.' Tenten thought with a smile. Tenten leaned forward to examine some flowers, when she took notice to Ino and the genin. "Hey what happened." A bit alarmed as the genin seemed to have fainted, but was now awake. Tenten walked beside Ino and the girl. Looking curiously, waiting for her answer.

((I'm a jumping in))
A man in blue and black walked down the street. his hands were shoved in his pockets and he was huntched over instead of walking strait. his dull eyes travled from every woman to inspect her. 'Hmm.....not to bad......ohhh.....that one looks good too......Now there is a looker....' he thought looking from every womans face. he turned his head slightly to see a blond girl and another girl. the sword on his back landed on the ground with a thud as he took it off his back. "now what are you two doing?' he said raising an eyebrow

(I dont mean to butt in like this, but Mist and Konoha are enemies right? So if Samus is from Mist I doubt he'd be in Konoha unless he's here to cause trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

Shikamaru walked down the street with his hands in his pockets and stopped infront of the flower shop. He looked in with dull eyes and shrugged openeing the door and walking in. He noticed TenTen and gave her a nodd and looked at all the flowers. He didn't notice Ino just yet but could hear her somwhere in the shop. He walked over to the counter looking at Ten Ten and then looked down to see Ino and the genin. 'What a pain.. what happened here?' He thought to himself looking on with a dull look as always.
" I'm guessing your too busy to go get something to eat."
He looked at Ino with a blank expression and then looked back to the genin.

(Y'all know this IS a flashback, right?)
Hokori shook her to clear it some more, features goign passive, as she mustered control. "Fine, Ino," she monotoned, not looking at the others yet, "My name is Hokori. I live just across the alley. Sorry to be a burden."
She sat up all the way, brushing a lock of hair out of her face. Be polite, get back home, eat dinner, and get some sleep for tommorow. With her luck, Aliana might make them run laps for six hours... Fool.

"Hokori, ne...?" Okay...well that's one question answered. Smiling brightly, Ino planted her hands on her hips. "Don't worry about it! Come on, we'll grab--" Interrupted. Ino blinked and glanced over at Tenten, surprised to see the older girl in the Flower Shop, of all places...she wasn't a tomboy, but it wasn't like the other kunoichi was very....feminine, either. "I found her just outside the shop, across the street...chakra exhaustion, I think. Excessive training? I'm not sure...anyways, Chou-kun's soldier pills took care of that--" Ino, who had only begun to get into her talkative swing, was halted by the sound of something hitting the floor. Her fingers whipped a kunai from her holster, paired with two shuriken. Whipping around, she frowned, before dropping the weapons back to their respective pouches (though her fingers lingered near them, especially once her bright blue eyes snagged the symbol on his forehead protector). "I'm sorry, but the shoppe is closed right now..." She said peacefully. Appear to be the flower, but be the snake that lurks beneath it her mind automatically supplied, a remnant from her days in the kunoichi classes at the academy.
Of course, Shika-kun chose now to show up...right when she was busy.. Her stomach grumbled, and Ino groaned, slumping her shoulders. "You have impeccable timing as always, you idiot..." She muttered, clearly embarrassed. GRAWWWWWWW.

(Yep we just like messin up your flashy backs)
Tenten acknowledged Shikamaru by a curt nod of her head. "Good to know you're okay." Tenten smiled relieved. She walked away from the scene to look at the flowers again. She'd have to hurry a bit, if she was late to training Gai sensei would make her run miles for sure.

He looked at her with a slight smirk on his face and shrugged.
" It can't be helped. I was busy."
He looked over to TenTen with a confused look. 'I never suspected her to be in here. She never passed me off as a flower kind of girl. She seemed always as a 'get a weapon and stab you type.' He thought to himself and then looked back to Ino and the Genin. He watched un interested and then looked at the flowers nearby.
" I see your running this place by yourself. It must be a real pain to do this alone. I don't know how you do it."
