This local bookstore is one of Naruto's favorite places to sneak into to further his study of the female form.
The site is a frequent location for knowledge seekers, searching to get there hands on a good read.

On the way to the village to young genin ran both very worried about what they had saw in the Forest of Death. Yoh took a quick glance back seeing that they were far enough from the forest to not get caught. His eyes then shifted toward Hokori, "I guess I'll explain now," he stated as he took a quick breath before starting. "One of the guys in the red cloud cloak is a Missing Ninja known as Uchiha Itachi he left the village after killing off his entire clan for reasons I don't know why. The guy is known to be a very powerful ninja and not someone to be dealt with lightly," he stated getting even more freaked. After he explained they were with in the village his head looking side to side looking for Kakashi since he knew he was a powerful ninja. He looked around in hopes of finding him.
(ok next post and I'll put us in front of the book store with Kakashi k ;D)

(Heh. )
The Sand Genin almost stumbled at the name Uchiha Itachi. She knew about Uchiha Sasuke, and he was bad enough according to rumor, but... If this Itachi was WORSE... Better not to think about that. Recovering her poise, Hokori picked up the pace, tone level, "We'd better be looking for someone strong then, hopefully several someones."
She paused, as they neared the Konoha Bookstore, her injured arm and Yoh's half-naked status drawing curious stares. Hokori frowned, "The Bookstore? How does this help?"

Yoh turned his head toward Hokori, "You'll see in a sec," he replied as he was about to enter stoping when he saw Kakashi exit the door.
The copy ninja had a smile under his mask laughing at the new book he got. His eyes then shited in front of him a confused look in his eye. He saw the condition both Yoh and Hokori were in, "Why is it when Kazuma isn't around to bug me you are?" he asked then noticed the seriouness in there eyes and awaited an explaination.

The Sand Genin gave Yoh a quick glance before placing her hands demurly in front of her, features very subdued. He rose a notch in her esteem, which was saying alot considering how she viewed most of humanity through her haze of old anger. For now though, fear was riffing through her, an unplesant sensation she was far from enjoying.
"Juunin Kakashi, my name is Ashita Hokori. Genin Yoh and I were sparring near the Forest of Death shortly ago," monotoned the Sand Genin, formality undercut by dread, "When three adult ninja started fighting inside the fence. Yoh sent a clone to see who and thinks that Juunin Gai is fighting Uchiha Itachi and another cloaked figure. I didn't see that close, but the cloaked ones give me a bad feeling." She looked down, chewing her lip, hoping that Kakashi would believe them.

A shocked look went on Kakashi's face as he heard the name Uchiha Itachi, "This isn't good," he thought, "So the Atksuki are back," he said under his breath a concerned look in his eye. He then looked toward the two Genin, "Alright you two you I'm going to help Gai and fight, what I want you two to do is tell the Hokage about this no one else last think we need right now is for people to panic," he took a deep breath to pull himself together, "Do you both understand?"
Yoh nodded his head to the copy ninja kind of worried about him, but he was a powerful ninja hopefully he could hold him off.

Hokori nodded understanding, partially relieved that someone was on the problem, although the fact that the legendary Copy Ninja was concerned about the village panicking didn't help... She bowed her head once, able to bury the fear now that she had a task, cog in the machine. It relieved her.
The Sand Genin looked to Kakashi, "I understand, Juunin."

Kakashi smiled to try and relive the Genin after they understood what they had to do. He placed his hands on the Genin's heads, "Great now lets go do our job right?" he said in a warming voice, "Oh and be sure to get yourselves fix once you have warned the Hokage you two look kind of....." he paused looking for the word, "Weird," he said bluntly and in a flash disappeared on his way to the Forest of Death.
Yoh nodded , but he wasn't relived. He had heard of the power of an Uchiha and he felt a bit worried about him. "No I shouldn't be worried he's Copy Ninja Kakashi he'll do fine," he thought to himself in order to make himself feel better. The Genin watched as Kakashi disappeared looking toward Hokori giving a nod then heading off toward the Hokage's office to warn her of Itachi.
(OK ready for you to send us to the Hokage's office Totora? hehe)

[Random Ino post ftw!]
Sometimes, Ino thought, her family jutsu could be a pain in the ass. It wasn't that she wasn't capable, not really, or that she was stupid (far from it), but rather... She lacked a lot of motivation to study it as diligently as she knew she should. But it was rather difficult, really, and she was getting sick of confusing people when she tried to explain what she was struggling with. (What was so confusing about chakra augmentation when in relation to the brain and chakra itself?). Not to mention, her jutsu didn't exactly kick a lot of ass. At best, she could disorient someone on the battle field. Being a spy sort of sucked. A lot.
Wandering through the bookstore, Ino offered an irritated sigh, flipping her hair over her shoulder. She had worn it down today, and she was pleased to find that it brushed against the middle of her back. Not nearly as long as she usually liked it, but it was getting there.
She trailed her hands across the spines of the books, none of the titles really jumping out at her. They were all about chakra in standard jutsus...not more technical chakra manipulation. Ino, who did not have as fine control as, say, Sakura, had learned to do a thousand more things with it than Billboard Brow could even dream of. And it wasn't like her family jutsu hadn't refined her (already above average) chakra control even more. Ino HAD graduated as the top kunoichi in her year, after all.
The Nature of Chakra and a Shinobi's Guide to Manipulating It. Ino paused, eyeing the book. Withdrawing it from the shelf, she leafed through it, eyes brightening. Bingo.

(Don't want you to be alone Ino-chan. Might aswell have your friendly neighborhood lazy guy to keep you company)
Shikamaru sat at one of the many desk and leant on his propped up arm. He stared down at the 'certain' book that explained more about the jutsu he had just learned from Anko. He was suprised they would have an explanatipon of a jutsu that was so high on the chart of power.
"What a pain. If I don't get all this information memorized I might be in for a suprise when I use this jutsu in battle. It will make me more of a burden, than any help."
shika sighed as he flipped a page and continued to read the documented information. It was easily written but it was so boring, that he started to put him to sleep. He finished one page and his eyes shifted to the next. Not knowing the information on the new jutsu wasn't an option. He knew that sooner or later Tsunade was going to send the team back out to recover the scrolls. Atleast when they find the location of Kusanagi and his squad. And finding that information would be way more troublesome then learning a new jutsu. It was like the legendary missing-nin and his squad disappeared off the face of the planet.
Shikamaru flipped the page and forced his glued eyes to look up at the person who had came in. He watched Ino search for a book and he didn't say a word. He just looked at her with his head leaning on his propped up hand. he looked back down at the book and continued to read, He flipped the page again and started the next. He couldn't help but look back up to Ino with a puzzled look. 'Ino in a libary? That's just like Chouji missing lunch. It never happens...' He continued to pnder to himself and finally raised a hand towards her, motioning her to come over. 'I wonder what she is here for.'

[[Haha, awesome! <3]]
Ino continued to browse for books, heartened by the fact that was at least something on her level. Ino wasn't stupid, not by a long shot. She just pretended to be, because it was easier to get people to do what you wanted if they thought they could manipulate you in turn. However, I digress.
An Extensive Study on Chakra; What It Is and How It Works. That looked promising. Tugging it gently from the shelf, her eye snagged on a curious movement to her right. Blinking once, twice, she flicked her eyes over. Well if it wasn't the lazy idiot...
She wandered over after a few moments, eyes scanning the shelves quickly, not finding anything worthwhile. Slipping up behind him, she rested her books on his head, reading over his shoulder. She stopped after a moment. That was wonderfully boring. Retrieving her books from his head, she sat across from him, flipping her hair over her shoulder in irritation. Okay, maybe she should have worn it up...
"Ne, fancy meeting you in here. I thought you were working with the deer today..." Otherwise, Ino would have planned this visit to coincide with his cloud-watching time. After all, she had a reputation to uphold.

Asuma took a drag off his cigarette and tilted his head back a bit to look at the bookstore he stood in front of. He had been in the bookstore now and then but not very often. He shifted his stance and walked inside.
Recieving a glare from the bookstore clerk for the cigarette. He tisked and let out a heavy laid back sigh and stomped the cigarette's light into his large palm before slipping the stump of the thing into his jacket pocket.
Asuma guided himself inbetween the bookshelves and stopped to hear to familiar voices. He shook his head and chuckled gently. Asuma silently slid to where his two students stood. He bent down between them.
"Fancy seeing either of you two here" He snickered lazily as a smirk graced his chiseled features.

Ino figured being spotted with Shikamaru in a bookstore was moderately tolerable. With her hair down, she figured not many people would recognize her. Her reputation was currently safe. And then Asuma-sensei had the gal to show up.
Ino's hand shot reflexively to her kunai holster, only to realize she wasn't actually carrying any weapons (well, not in plain sight anyways). Grumbling, she hid in her books. Asuma-sensei always drew attention (considering he smelled like an ash tray and looked like a hobo), and she did not want to be associated with them. Not at all.
After all, Ino has her hair down, is not ninja-fied, is UGLY (she ventured out for TEN MINUTES without her make up, and now everyone and their grandma was showing up), and is in an unlikely place, reading about unlikely things. Groaning, she prayed for a quick death. If she died now, maybe she'd still be remembered as the popular and charming Ino, instead of some slob that really did fit into Team Ten.
"Hate you all." Was all Ino muttered. Maybe she could run for it...
Ino started eyeing the front door.

"Hate yah too" Asuma snickered and stuffed his hands in his pokets. "You aren't planning to escape are you Ino?" Asuma narrowed his eyes. "We have training once more. Since every body is here for a change" He rubbed his pointy beard with one large hand. "And there is no way to escape my training. Don't want your talent to waste away do we?" He taunted her. -- Chouji Akimichi traveled about the streets. His eyes fell onto the bookstore. He had been gone so long from the village yet when he had come back the only place he had yet to check out was the bookstore. Maybe, he had thought to himself, he could find a book on food.'
Chouji let a gleeful smile grace his pudgy facial features as he guided himself in a less than graceful fashion to the bookstore. He had yet to run into his teamates. That was the only thing bothering the pudgy swirly cheeked biy. He was hoping to run into them first when he came back from his mission.
Chouji entered the bookstore and looked about as the door shut behind him with a slam. His wide eyes took in the sight of all the books. Books ranging from how to control chakra to porno.

Ino glowered from behind her book, a quiet rage burning in her eyes that would have done her mother proud. An eyebrow twitching, she fought the desire to shove her book up his ass (as she needed them to study).
Rising to her feet, she tucked her books under her arm, glare nearly tangible now. "Well I was training today, and I'd like to get back to it, thank you very much Sensei." She snarled. What can you expect? She's likely to be defensive and hostile. ]: She doesn't want everyone knowing that she likes books isn't a total airhead and isn't that pretty naturally.
Heading towards the cashier in a huff, she overpaid the owner without a second thought, wheeling about to storm out of the store and go home. She got as far as wheeling out before spotting a familiar tub of lard. A familiar tub of lard that had been away for far, far too long.
"Chou-kun!" She could have hugged the boy. Only, she was Ino, and people might have talked. So she didn't. She did smile brightly though, switching instantly from grumpy-hating-the-world-Ino to beautiful-socialite-that-loves-everyone-Ino. "When did you get back?"
