It was nice here. That's what Magasasu thought. Saishi thought so too. But she was a dormant soul now, simply there. Just something occupying space in the body. Magasasu's own dark chakra, over the years, had taken over the majority of Saishi's own chakra. He had added her knowledge to his own a few years earlier, having her submit to him. Her hair had grown level with her elbows, her eyes almost completely white, except for the slightest hint of a pale gray iris. Now, she wore a brown leather breat-plate fit for war over her white tunic, leather covering her back as well, and her shorts made of the very same brown leather. She had scrolls strapped along her sides, replacing the viles that had once occupied space on her waist. The only foot-wear visible now was an ankle bracelet, many symbols inscribed into it as well. And the staff, with more incriptions, symbols, and two more tags, was still at her side.
The place was perfect for the channeler of the dead. Many had been buried at the volcanic island in the fertile soil. Animals had died and been covered. Skeletons were everywhere under-ground, for the blood on Saishi's hands helped him see the dark outlining of hundreds of entities. In the distance was a woman, crimson red hair flashing, and a cat at her side. "Oh, look, a kitty. Perfect. I have just the thing for it." Pulling a scroll out, she stabbed the base of the staff through it and lay it on the ground, blood pooling out from the scroll into a large puddle on the ground. For a moment, it stilled, completely inactive, before two claws came from the puddle. First, out came the front legs, some of the flesh and veins still attatched. The head was just the same, two red eyes looking very unstable in eye sockets devoid of any skin. His entire body was gruesome and bloody, bone and flesh, veins and tendons all visible, his tail one spined bony spike. A collar was loosely worn around his neck, jingling as her freed himself from the blood pool. He managed to free his entire body, shaking the blood off as a normal dog might shake water off, and turned up to look at Saishi, bony tail wagging. A smile played across her lips at the sight. "Well, hello. I knew you'd be useful. Household pets were always useful for something. And you've developed at taste for blood." The undead dog lapped up some of the blood from the puddle and turned back to her. Her staff, tags jingling, waved towards the cat. "There you are. Have fun. I'm sure you'll find that one most enjoyable. And I'll deal with the human." The dog turned to the cat, the red haired human far off in the distance with her back turned away, and let out a bark that sent blood flying from its mouth. With a scrabble of its red claws, it took off in the cat's direction, Saishi keeping up with its pace easily. Oh, its so sad Takeda isn't here yet. But no matter. He'll have no one to blame but himself for missing all of the fun.
While running, the staff waved upwards, boned arms devoid of any flesh shooting up from the burial place of an unfortunate ninja to take hold of Krimson's legs, another pair of arms taking hold of Gekisen's. The dog leaped for the cat, jaws gaping with impossibly large teeth.
It had begun!
OOC: YEYS... Sorry for taking so long. I was looking for cereal... It's not that long, but hey, I tried!
