Our Chunnin exam will have one event, a tournament. Genin will be assigned a partner to fight and duke it out. Your performance will be taken into consideration by the mods. The tournament will be posted near Chunnin exam time.
I will be sending out a long PM about the details of the exam once the time comes.
A mod will choose only ONE genin each, the genin we've chosen will pass.
The Stage is a 50 yard by 50 yard area, making for a close encounter fight. It's made of cubic stone, and has no boundaries. If you ring out, your opponent will win...so try to stay in the periminter.
Mod's cannont vote for there own character, *points down* and mod's...be realistic, take into account there actual RPing skills.
EDIT: Unless Kaji states otherwise, Mods can not hurl their own Genin to Chuunin status. Let's not have peverse nepotism, shall we?
RE-EDIT: Okay, the structure of the exam center is as follows. Big long hallway with ten monstrous rooms coming off of either side. Each doorway leads into a another room, onto a blacony for observers. Stairs lead down from this onto a lower floor which is marked with the 50 yard by 50 yard square in paint. First member of a pair to post gets to say which room they're in, dig it? Just don't take an existing fight room, please... Oh, and have fun.

(Here we go. Setting the stage as it were for our other attendees. Get fighting, eh?)
Hokori padded her way down the central hallway of the new Chuunin Exam center. She had gotten up early, eaten a good breakfast, and triple checked her weapons and tools. Nothing could be out of place, mentally or physically if she was to pass this affair. The Sand Genin's features were a model of emotionless control, utterly concealing the roiling sea of antiscipation in her gut. Spotting door number eight, she entered, taking in the sunken 50 yard by 50 yard dueling floor within, far below the observer's platform. A stairway led down to the place. A quick intake of breath, and she aproached the proctor for this exam.
"Ashita Hokori?" replied the female Chuunin after looking down at her clipboard, blue eyes outwardly dismissvie, "Head down to the dueling area and stretch if you want. Your opponent should be here shortly, and you can begin." She paid the Sand Genin no more mind, a cluster of low-level functionaries claiming her attention again.
With a bow and a shrug, Hokori complied, slowly walking down the steps and into the area. Here she went, first chance at showing her skills to her superiors, first chance to show to herself that she could defeat him... A tight smile danced across her face and died, her fingers tracing the bun at the back of her head for weaknesses.

The sound of clinking swords echoed in the young Genin's ears as he made his way into the stadium, eyes lighting up at the spectacle. He was in the Chunnin exams, and the realization had suddenly flooded him. He was a mere eleven years old, and here he was...engaging in something he hadn't planned on participating in for a long time. The arena was perfect, as Kobu began to analyze the different aspects of the fighting square. It was an odd feeling, as an anxious knot was clumped in the Itzuka's throat. With a strech of his arms, and a quick squat to strech out his legs, he took a glance around. He had been notified that he would be fighting first...against one of the Inuzuka clan. For Kobu hadn't heard of the boy, Kiba...but he knew of the clan itself. A familiar site caught his eye, as he glanced over seeing his Dojo sensei Kaji. For he was arguing with a proctor about the lack of conssesions. Kobu merely smiled, deciding to not bother himself with Kaji's antics. Although he gave him a bit of inspiration, he wanted no interferences with his current state of mind. Kobu randomly chose arena number 7, walking in slowly as he made his way onto a raised platform. A 50 by 50 foot arena was 5 feet raised off the ground...as the Auidience stands where a little ways above. He yawned, wondering how his other teammate Hokori who signed up would fair. He made his way to the Proctor, as he hold Kobu that his opponent would arrive shortly. He yawned, squating down as he streched his legs and arms.
"What do you mean there's no consessions..." Kaji blurted out at a Chunnin proctor, shaking his head in disbelief. With a shake of his head, he turned away from the speechless proctor...an airy look on his face. His hair was extremely untrimmed, as if he had recently just rolled out of bed. No matter, Two of his students were participating...and Kaji had high hopes for them. He couldn't decide which battle to attend first, for this was more than an exam for him...it was free entertainment.

Rock Lee walked into Arena 1(because, of course, he was number 1), more pumped than he'd been in a while. His second chance at Chuunin! He'd definitely win this time. And it would be easier than last time too... no written test to worry about!
Hopping up and down in the ring of concrete, he nervously awaited the arrival of his testing opponent. Minako, was it? He'd never met anyone of that name. Should be interesting. He might even recruit a new Green Beast if he showed this Minako the meaning of Youth! The revelation hit him like a burst of adrenaline. He was SOOOOOOO ready.

Kiba walked down the silent hallway of Arena 7, until reaching the loud stadium filled with cheering people. He made his way to the raised platform and the exam proctor. Akamaru was carefully positioned inside of the Inuzuka's jacket, smelling around to see if there opponent had arrived.
There he was, Kobu Itzuka stretching and waiting for Kiba's arrival, on the platform. Kiba gave a short smirk before he positioned himself directly across from the Nin, he took a knee so that Akamaru could jump out of the jacket and onto the ground. Still on his knee Kiba put his hand on the pups back, rubbing it smoothly and saying "alright Akamaru lets go WILD". The pup responded with a child like bark, Kiba stood up arms and legs spread as far as they could go.
It was his time to shine, the chuunin exams. He would not allow anyone to beat him, he was to be Chuunin. He smelled the air with a long whiff and said, "Today smells like a good day, to be Chuunin"! And with that he waited with a large grin on his face, for the opposing Nin to strike first.

Minako walked down the enormous hallways. "It's so big!" Minako thought out loud. She thought she'd stay and wait for Kazuma since he too would be participating, but she decided against it. She knew that before a match it's good to have some alone time. "Now if I had any idea where I was going!" Minako cried out, frustrated. She took a look around and noticed a tournament sheet. "Oh this might be of help." Minako figured. Quickly she browsed it, looking for her name. "Okay, I'm in Arena 1 fighting....Rock Lee." Minako hadn't seen him in class or on missions so she figured he must be a re-taker. 'Great, I'm going to be fighting some one with even more skill than me.' Minako thought, her heart sinking.
She made her way to the room labeled Arena 1. The Chuunin proctor outside was waiting.
"Minako Terto? Go on in, Rock Lee is already waiting." The man informed her after checking her off his clipboard..
Minako smiled her gratitude before she entered the large room. An older genin with thick brows, and a bowl shaped hair cut was already in her. He had a green full body suit with a red head protector on his waist. 'What is up with this guy!' Minako thought, ' He looks pretty funny.' Minako walked closer until she was only a few feet away. "Hi, I'm Minako." She said.

"I am Rock Lee, the Beautiful Green Beast of Konoha! I look forwards to a Youthful bout between us ninja!" He knew that the point here was to impress; the better he fought the higher his chances of becoming Chuunin, win or lose. So, he decided to go almost all-out from the start.
Quickly removing his arm-socks and weights, he laid them down next to the arena carefully before dropping into a defensive stance. He wanted an idea of this Minako's abilities before he committed to an attack. Wagging his index finger in the traditional 'Come Here' gesture, he prepared for a good fight. "Let us begin, Minako-san"

Heiji Akito walked through the winding walkways inside the exam place. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and frowned. Breathing through the thin fabric of his black mask which had been pulled up over his nose to prevent his mouth from being seen. Fingers adjusted the sunglasses that were ppushed up to the top of his head. Cold red eyes searched the halls that his feet silently padded along.
Heiji's maroon eyes fell upon ten large doors. Okay, the structure of the exam center is as follows.Picking the fifth door Heiji's pale hands clenched the doorknob and opened the large wooden door and swung it open. He glared at each observer with a look of distaste. Pale fingers slid down the railing of the stairwells as he walked down onto the lower floor which was marked with a 50 yard by 50 yard square in paint.
Shin something or other. That was his opponent. Or at least that was what he had been told. Heiji licked his lips in anticipation. Oh this would be fun. This kid, he had heard of his abilties but now it was Heiji's time to seep drk thoughts into another persons head, see if his tactics were useful.

Yoh walked around seeing the doors that lead to different arenas that all the genin would be fighting in. Seems like numbers one, seven, and eight. He looked around wondering what arena to take. He felt a little nervous for he knew that his opponent was a member of the Hyuuga Clan and that this guy had alot more experience than him when it came to missions for he hasn't even done one. He the felt a hard pat on his back hearing a familiar voice.
"Hey Yoh what up its good to see that your entering the exams as well," Kazuma said to him smiling. He wore his regular clothing his main kodachi still on the back of his waist. Along with his kodachi he had to duel kodachi Kaji gave him crossed on his back.
"Seems like your as confident as ever," Yoh said sarcastically to him, "Well I'm off good luck with your battle with who ever you got," saying that Yoh entered arena number 6. He looked at the at the 50 yard by 50 yard ring. "Well at least theres plenty of room to fight, but sadly no water oh well," he thought to himself as he walked down the stairs and entered the arena waiting for his opponent to arrive.
"Same to you," Kazuma replied as he watched Yoh enter room six. "Hmm I wonder where I'm supposed to go," he asked himself walking down the hall.
"Your Shoji, Kazuma right," The Chuunin examiner ask the young demon nodding his head, "Then in here, your opponent is waiting"
"Oh thanks," Kazuma replied as he walked in seeing the crowd. The demon looked down at the arena seeing some girl. A smile entered the young demon's face this was going to be fun. He ran down the stair entering the arena, "Hi there the name is Kazuma nice to meet ya I look forward to our fight," Kazuma welcomed as he entered his fighting stance ready for battle.

Kobu's face shot upward, the boy from the Inuzuka clan was waiting across the arena. Honestly, Kobu expected the dog to be much...bigger from the things he heard of the Inuzuka clan. A smirk shot across the young Genin's face at the dog boy's comment, Kobu letting out a laugh. "Whatever..." He let out, amused by Kiba's entire display. The air was tense no doubt, but Kobu normally thrived being the center of attention. He didn't feel nervous in front of the cheering crowd, and his hands made their way up to the twin broadswords.
His back foot slid back, a fierce expression coming across on Kobu's angular features. Adrenaline was coursing, no doubt...but Kobu was confident in his abilities. He smiled downward patting a pocket on his leg, for he had come prepared. He would merely test Kiba before he got serious, and his dog seemed to be a big handicap in this fight. For it was easier to defeat in numbers...especially when those numbers had such a tight bond. With a dash, Kobu hurtled forward, his broadswords outstreched in each hand.
Upon slashing forwards, He squated down...using his anchored left hand to hurl the blunt of his sword in an attempt to bash it against Kiba's chin. Kobu smiled, spining a low kick at the Inuzuka members knees. He flung backwards, a sideways dash creating about a 12 foot gap in between them. Kobu wouldn't use Ninjutsu just yet, or his bloodline...and would test Kiba's abilities by using merely Taijutsu. Kobu spat, his breathing having larger pauses as they adjusted to the aspect of combat. This was what Kobu lived for, and he wasn't much good outside a fight.

Shinto had been training non-stop, but had enough sense to see her healer and take some herbs before going on her way. She had to constantly regulate her breathing all morning, her stomach being slightly in a knot. But seeing him had quickly set everything out of her mind save for one thing- becoming a Chuunin. She glared at him, and he right back at her. Walking silently down the hallway, she noticed Neji prepare to turn before stopping and glancing at her.
"I would wish you luck, but luck doesn't win a battle." Frowning, he walked towards Arena Six, having already been informed. As he continued to walk away, he heard he mutter something, but paid it no attention. The arena was filled, even one or two Hyuga in the audience. Those who had heard of him gave a silent mutter to the ones beside them as he stood on his side of the arena before his opponent. Veins around his eyes revealed themselves, and he took his own stance. He said nothing. Words were not needed. In his mind, he saw Shinto, anger flaring in his chest. He was ready. He nodded, as if an invitation for his opponent to attack.
"I don't need your well-wishes." she muttered as she walked away, and randomly chose Arena 2. She had question her previous training masters about her opponent. Ironically, she was a member of Neji's Team, a girl who was a master of Projectiles and something or another. She was glad she had learned the Kaiten well, and also that Enishi had taught her at least one useful Jutsu. Her lack of sight made her able to ignore the nervous or hotsile glances of the observing spectators, and so she took her side at the end of the ring, tapping her foot to give her a good idea of the arena. And so she waited...
OOC: And to think I'M nervous. XD

Yoh gave a small bow toward Neji showing at least some respect. Still a bit nervous, but that wasn't going to slow him down. He was planning to use his mist jutsu, but he knew of the Hyuuga bloodline and it would be useless. Her took of his robe shirt not wanting any holes. "Its time to begin," he thought to himself a smile of excitement on his face. "Good luck to use and may the best shinobi win," he said to Neji with a smile.
He dashed at the Hyuuga jumping high up. The tip of his opening up sending to sets of 10 finger bones at the Hyuuga. Then the Kaguya followed it up with a spin kick downward as he came down hard.

Kiba saw the attack and immediately jumped back, doing a ort of back flip. He landed onto his two legs, but before he could attack his opponent he had already jumped back.
"Lets go Akamaru", kiba yelled and Akamaru answered once again with one his his tiny barks. Fist Kiba used his "Four Legs Technique" and chakra began to derive from kiba body. With that Akamaru jumped onto Kiba's back, he held his hands together and said "Beast Human Clone", Akamaru changed into a perfect copy of Kiba.
Finally they used there, "Gatsûga or Double Piercing Fang Technique". The two spun wildly at Kobu, not being able to see they dicided to use there high sence of smell to locate him. As they went along the ground under them was torn up, they then broke off. One spun over head while the other came from the side, both attacks aimed for Kobu.(sorry for the mis spelled words, sell check is down )

OOC: *Laughs at mental images of Neji squealing like a girl*
Neji leaped forward, the finger bones drilling themselves into the ground, and his hands came up to meet the spin kick, chakra blasting from his palms. He didn't wince at the slight pain the revertebrated down his wrist. His palms attempted to push the boy upward while giving him a bit of damage from the Juken blast. But of course, this had only worked on a few people...
OOC: Sorry for the short post, I'm at my mom's. And this isn't her computer, it's her friend's. I'm really having to push it.

Kobu faltered, skiddding backward's as his eyes focused on the beast clones. A flurry of hand signals were released, medling together in semi-readable contortions. "Earth Release: Earth Shore Return!" Kobu let out, the stone grouding of the arena leveling up in a thick wall of earth. It slowed the attack down to a degree, but Kobu knew that it would still push through with a small fraction of it's force. The wall was partially curved around him, leaving a opening only at Kobu's back. It would be inevitbable at their speed that they would hit the wall.
Cataputling off the ground, and upon Kiba's possible impact with the earth....Kobu shot himself off of the top of walll, slashing downwards onto one of the spiraling spheres. He launched a small rock from his pocket to end of the course, and upon it's impact with the ground...used the body replacement on it. He was now on the other side of the arena...as he cracked his right knuckles. Kiba was a fool to use one of his key note Jutsus at such an early point in time.
Kobu's eyes stared at the two clones. They were undistiguishable no doubt...but it didn't really matter which one Kobu hit. His broadswords were outstreched in each arm, forming a wingspan as he bolted forward. He shifted to the side, attempting to slash Kiba in the side, while the other sword formed an upswipe. Together the blades formed a scissor-like action that would be difficult to dodge. To prevent Kiba from escaping by another "backflip" He circled to the side with a fluid motion. "Falling fist Mizu form!" Kobu let out, administering the more fluid side of the Sojiro style. A sword came down onto Kiba's opposite side as Kobu swerved outward...giving Kiba a sharp jab into the stomach. The attack formed a full circlle around Kiba...with attacks from every side of his...even above. It all had been administered in such a short ammount of time, that it formed a series of attacks that were near impossible to dodge all of them.
He felt the weight of a few more mid-sized rocks in his pocket as he back-handsprained back. His previous attack series first blows were possible to dodge, but the circular motion he developed provided no openings. He exhaled sharply, quickly inhaling a deep breath. Breathing control was crucial in this type of match. Kobu was still testing Kiba, knowing that the Inuzuka had expelled far more Chakra with his "Gatsuga". The boy had hardly dealt a card, and had dozens of more aces up his sleeves.
This fight was his, and judging upon Kiba's fighting style, mostly Taijutsu...Kobu would win it easily.
(sorry for the long post an complicated taijutsu move that your very unlikely going to read...)
