The armor receved the hits, but did not falter, it was in perfect range of hitting Gai now and there would be little Gai could do about it. Kaze had a mission to complete so there was little point in staying here, he started off in the other direction leaving his samurai and statue to fight for him.

Hiro Tashgui stood silently on the giant head statue of the current hokage. His arms were cross over his chast and upon his usual gleeful face was a serious frown. Hiro tilted his head up ever so slightly to sniff the dense air that had surrounded him.' A deep sigh erupted from his lips. Not being able to identify the disturbing smell or prescense he lowered his head. Aqua orbs gazed across the village below.
Some was very uneasy. He could feel a weight pon his broad shoulders. He had never felt like this before and it confused him. Furrowing his brow Hiro's scowl deepened. Was something doomed to happen?
It was bugging him. Everything. From the stench of something that could be named and the feel of fear in the air. But over what? Hiro continued to puzzle and slowly lowered himself to sit down cross legged on the statue. His eyes remained glued to the village that he often fought for never breaking the gaze.
Furrowing his brow deeper Hiro parted his lips slightly. His brain was kicked into gear as he began to run situations through his head. The Akatsuki? No. It couldn't be them. He hadn't seen them come around at the moment. Or at least he didn't they were near. How about a betrayl? It could be possible... but whom? By any means it could be anybody. Maybe even a gening. However, Hiro doubted a betrayl. No something much bigger.

(Heh. Day two of the Kaguya Chronicles.)
Kaguya Taj picked his way up the trail on Hokage mountain, staff clicking on the stony ground in time to his footfalls. His gaze shifted to study the colosal visages of Leaf's leaders. So much good, yet so much violence in the village's history. It would never end THEIR way, but perhaps he could do a little to lessen the violence by teaching someone...
His gaze shifted back to Yoh at this, a slight smile gracing his lips. Seeing they were at the top of the trail, a wide flat area spotted with boulders, the elder Kaguya called, "This will do for what we need to do since your peers are using the training grounds. Are you recovered enough from yesterday to tackle a second Dance, one both simpler and more complicated than the Camelia?"

(yay)
Yoh followed up Taj up the Hokage mountain. He was filled with excitement Ame sensei had no missions for him to do. So that meant he had another chance to train with the older Kaguya. Though to be honest he enjoyed spending time with a fellow Kaguya more than he enjoyed learning the dances. He looked toward the heads of the Hokages of the passed giving a small chuckle as he thought of the prank some kid pulled by painting their faces.
As they arrived at the top of the mountain Yoh looked around looking at the area they were going to be training in. His attention went toward Taj as he spoke. "Yeah I'm fine now," Yoh replied the excitement in his voice could easily be heard, but he soon became confused about what he said. "Wait Kaj-dono I thought you said that Camelia was the hardest," Yoh mentioned kind of confused

Impaling his staff in the ground beside him, the monk removed the outermost of his orange robes, eyes amused. "True. The Dance of the Camelia is the hardest because it makes you think differently from a normal swordsman. The Dance of the Clematis takes the princples of the Camelia and adds a technically difficult aspect to them," remarked Taj, "One I never really mastered for a long time."
Taj focused on his left arm, bony plates unfolding from his skin, growing and folding over one another, covering everything below the elbow in a massive drill-like weapon, fully five feet from base to tip. "This Dance," he commented softly, the weapon settling into a final form, "teaches you how to use this as easily as a normal sword. Few defenses can stop this drill used correctly."

Yoh just stared at Kaj as he stabbed his staff into the ground and heard him speak. It was a bit confusing. First he says one thing is the hardest then another. It was kind of hard to get it even with the explaination, though it was just something he was going to have to accept.
He then watched as Kaj surrouneded his forearm with bone. A look of amsament on his face he had never thought of using his bones that way before. He listned closly as he spoke looking at his own forearm. And once he was done speaking Yoh tried doing forming the same weapon though his didn't really look as shapre as Kaj, "Is that right?" he asked still looking at his bone covered hand

(Heh. Chaos at work.)
Taj considered the Genin's weapon, losing his smile and narrowing one eye, "Superfically, yes. But did you lace the boneplates together with spurs and make sure that the spirals go all the way through? That gives the weapon half of its strength." He focused on his drill 'unfolding' a few of the plates to show, an endless series of bony links between the curving layers.
The elder Kaguya presented the weapon to show this more clearly, a regretful smile on his face, "The scroll I learned the dances from neglected to show that, and the first time I used this move in battle, the drill shattered on impact with my foe's armor. Quite painful."

Yoh looked up from his bone hand looking at Kaj's as he showed his, and explained how it was supposed to be done. He looked closely at it examining it seeing the right way it was meant to be done. "Ouch sounds painful," he said softly feeling a bit sorry for him.
Again Yo looked at his for arm bone forming around it. Though still time he put layers, and also used the curves he mentioned and saw in Kaj's weapon. This time the drill was shaper and a bit larger. At first glance it seemed right though part of him felt as if he did something wrong though he wasn't sure what oh well won't know until he tried. "How's this?" he asked as he showed Kaj.

Taj sealed up his drill, gaze measuring, "Close enough for now. Aparently every Kaguya develops his or her own design for it, just as every Kaguya learns their own take on the Camelia. But first... Tell me what would be different using the Clematis when compared with the Camelia?" An eyebrow rose, the elder Kaguya resting his drill point first on the ground.

Yoh looked up at Kaj still showing Kaj his 'drill'. When he began talking he lowered it returning the bone back inside his skin. As he asked his question the young genin thought for while. "What would be different using the Clematis when compared with the Camelia?" he repeated in his mind trying to think of something besides the obvious.
"Well for one Clematis is a drill, while Camelia is a sword. Also while you can swing around your sword with the Camelia dance its seem the only thing the Clematis would really be useful for is a stab like attack, though if small enough it could be used just as Camelia though its actually connected to you while Camelia you hold," Yoh said explaining the differences he noticed. If he missed anything oh well its not like he knew much about the dances.

"Good observations. But there are two more important issues. One, it is a larger weapon, something your opponent expects to be heavier and slower than it is," the elder Kaguya agreed, lifting his weapon, "That makes them potentially distainful of it. Two, you are aiming to get one good hit in as opposed to the endless series of strikes you inflict with the first dance. One hit, one kill."
Taj went from standing still to charging away from Yoh without warning, drill arm held back and point tipped at a boulder in his path. He leapt, smashing the weapon into his target. There was an explosion of rock shards, a cloud of dust, and the monk was visible again, weapon embedded three-quarters of the way into the ground, the target boulder a shattered reminant of its former self.
He looked back at Yoh, "Now imagine that on a human body. If they don't dodge, they're dead."

Yoh listened closely to Taj's words listening to the parts he missed in his examination. He didn't feel bad about missing them for he knew nothing about the dances. He then watched as he as Taj dashed toward some large boulder. Astonishment entered his face. "Amazing!" he yelled out impressed by the attack Taj use.
However his astonishment soon disappeared and was replaced by a disturbed look. In his mind he did imagine if it were a real person. His eyes were a bit sicken at the thought of it. The blood shed was horrid.
Though when used against an enemy it would be useful killing someone in such a gruesome way just seem..... wrong. It wasn't the fact that he was against killing it was just that killing someone in that way was wrong no matter what they did. "Have you...." he said softly pausing for a bit, "Have you ever used this on a person before?" he asked it may have been a bit rude to ask, but he wanted to know and there was nothing wrong about being curious. Right?

"Yes, I have. The Dances are tools of war after all, beautiful though they be, and I was a Chuunin in service of my village," replied Taj very softly, pulling his drill from the ground and turning around. The weapon was ran through with cracks, tip blunted, particles of rock embedded in the grooves. The merest flicker of chakra, and it began to reform into deadly wholeness.
He smiled sadly, eyes filled with old regret and humility, "Does the thought of I using such a brutal technique to extinguish a human life repulse you, my yong kinsman? Hmmm. In truth, it is no worse than any other S or A rank Jutsu that inflicts harm, merely easier for those of our blood to carry out."

(is it just me or are you getting less and less karma each day?)
Yoh listen closely to Taj, "How is that beautiful?" he asked himself though he made sure not to say it out loud. "The thought of the attack being used on anyone is kind of repulsive, being hit by such a attack seems like a gruesome death for anyone," Yoh stated he felt wrong for judging since it wasn't his place to really speak of the matter. It wasn't his nor anyone's place on telling anyone what they should have done in their life.
"Though that kind thing isn't really my place to speak," he said with a small chuckle trying to get rid of the uneasy felling he had from imagining killing someone with the Clematis. Part of it reminded him of the chidori Kakashi made. It was similar though it was made of pure chakra while this was made of bone. "So do you want me to do the same?" the young genin asked speaking about trying out the Clematis on a large rock just as he did.
