Yoh listened to Ame as she explained who it was that stole the scroll. A shiver of fear going down his spine as he heard the name Kusanagi. He had heard of him. The man was said to have taken out three AMBU squads. His eyes showed a bit of fear at the thought of actually running into the man. But hopefully they wouldn't.
His attention went toward Todomasu as he spoke. A bit surprised on what he was hearing. Ramen? Was he kidding? Ramen wasn't the type of food you pack for a mission. And the fact that he was expecting Ame-sensei to fight for them annoyed him as well. He wanted to be Hokage yet he was afraid of the path in coming one. Todomasu just made no sense to him. No coward should ever be Hokage. All this was obviously showing on his face, however he quickly looked away from his teammate so he wouldn't see his expression. Waiting for Ame to reply after all wasn't his place to speak.

Ame laughed at Todomatsu's statement, "Well in the long run I'll be fighting with you and protecting you, that is part of my job afterall, but I won't always be there to take care of the stronger shinobi, but I'll do my best should the need arise." More seriously she added, "As a Konoha shinobi you shouldn't be worried about being protected, that should be the last thing on your mind, the first and foremost thing should be the success of the mission and your teammates, remember that."
"As for how long it will take I cannot answer that certainly, we have to travel to the Mist Village first to begin to track them down, of course that will be risky since Mist and Fire aren't allies, but we'll discuss that later. On this mission I will be teaching you necessary survival and tracking skills so don't worry about running out of food."

Todomatsu smiled and said. "Ok so Lets be off to the mist village." Todomatsu smiled as he started to walk out of the village. He didn't even get 10 steps before he slipped in something brown and fell backwards. He jumped up quick and looked down at what he stepped in. "Ah man dog crap." He then looked up and yelled "OKAY!!! IF I FOUND OUT WHAT DOG DID THIS THEIR GOING TO BE SORRY." Todomatsu then took out his shoe and put it on the ground near his batty sensei. "Hey sensei you do water Justus how about you clean my shoe off for me?" Todomatsu then smiled real big.

Yoh listened as Ame spoke to Todomasu. Was he really older than him? It was kind of hard to tell. A bit of a nervous look came across his face as he heard that they were going to the village of the Mist. After all it was the same village that whiped out his clan.
The young genin lowered his headband a bit making sure that his clan traits were compleletly hidden. He then started heading out. His attention going toward Todomasu as he tripped and dog pie. Did he really have to depend his life on him?

Ame shook her head and sighed, "Honestly Todomatsu can't you go five seconds without humiliating yourself? Wait don't answer I don't want to know." Ame flipped her hands forming the needed hand-signs to perform her jutsu. A large gush of water spouted out of her mouth, with a driving force to flip Todomatsu backwards, but at least it cleaned his shoe. "Well if there are anymore questions, you can ask them later, as for us it is time to go, Team Ame, lets go!" With that sure burst upward into the trees with her genin behind her.

(ok since Genskin quit rping here on the site I'm guessing its only going to be the three of us)
Yoh watched as his sensei and teammate left. The young genin feeling a bit nervous. This was going to be his very first mission. And also his first time outside Kohona. It was a creepy feeling. The young Kaguya sighed, 'I can do this,' he thought to himself as he quickly followed his sensei and Todomasu ready for the mission. Everything Taj taught him going through his mind.
(so where to next?)

Light. Visual representation of a destitue concept, a deprived luxury that was well welcomed. A pair of crimson eyes continued to struggle, in an attmept to adjust to sought after reflection. For over the months, the eyes saw nothing but darkness, save for the crackling and sparking of his bloodline. However despite the tormentations, despite the ever lasting loath of any darkness that would creep over his being...a smile insued.
The various contortions of flourishing foliage formed a halo of ease around the wandering warrior. For the lush budding of growth around him exuded his past, his present, and his future. Even if the preceding months were abudant of anguish, almost every joyous moments of his life happened here, in the Land of Fire. Birds warblings, the clinking of a fabled blade, and the soft monotone of continious footsteps formed a composition of sound. For the Sounds gently pushed a sense of peace, forming a daydream delusion that the vagabond resided within.
The old Sojiro's cackling still echoed in reminence through Kaji's mind, a gnarled near isane being pushing an already torn warrior into the brink of impossibility. What Kaji thought were his limits, were soon simply boundaries...boundaries which could be easily broken to achieve power that was deamed unobtainable in his eyes. For the experience was painful, and a lasting hate for the senial old Sojiro still remained. However, Kaji was received with an intense voltage of pure power.
No matter, the experience was behind him now...and the long forgotten gate of his home appeared as welcoming as the gates of heaven themselves. For the village was awaiting, and Kaji's smirk erupted into a beaming smile that signified his emotion. No matter how many thoughts tried to push themselves into the Sojiro's mind, only one remained. For Kaji...was home.

Quickly hoping from building to building Kaeda quickly weaved her way between crowds along the roads of Konoha, paying no attention to the tempting smells, or busy chatter, even though she was hungry. Right now the ANBU member only had one goal, to make it to the gate; and already she was late.
Kaeda always had a bad habit with being on time, or actually taking these things seriously. It was amazing she was actually one of ANBU's elite, and member of the ANBU Secret Intelligence Squad. Kaeda's lazy attitude had made her late like this before, but this time she had to arrive there quickly.
Hm, look what you've gotten yourself into now Kaeda you've probably already missed him, Kaeda's goal was to make it to the gate in time to find the traveling Sojiro, Kaji. He had been absent from Konoha for quite some time. Though he had left legally, it was still necessary that an ANBU member escort him...but Kaeda knew she would be too lazy for that, so she hoped someone else would show up to help her.
Fortunatly Kaeda reached the gate in time. The raven-haired jounin was standing at the gate looking empty eyed. Kaeda sighed in relief, the last thing she wanted was to track him down. Kaeda came to a halt in front of him, " So your back, yeah?"

A gust of wind propelled Kaji's moral upward as he caught site of the raven haired ANBU member. For he knew the procedure, and although Kaji left for a valid purpose, there was paper-work, warrants, and countless other legalities that had a knack for driving the Sojiro even farther away. Of course Konoha was a site that seemed to ease Kaji into a lulled state of peace, however the mission build-up and responsibilities were always a burden to the more free-spirted vagabond. However, Kaji wasn't a vagabond any longer, and in place of the barking orders of the decrepit old Sojiro was gusts of wind and meandering sunlight; a trade that was welcome in the eyes of the Jounin. Therfore he would have to withstand the formalities, no matter how aggravating the process was.
Normally Kaji would have file a report, stating the reasons of his absence; however, Kaji had no intention of revealing the withering Sojiro, nor the abilities to which he had received. As his eyes met the ANBU agent, an instant lightening of his persona insued. For back in Kaji's days as an ANBU captain, Kaeda was a promising intel agent, one who's specialties in interrogation aided Kaji's team in many circumstances. His head raised slightly in a nod, letting out a lazy "Yo".
He knew such a lack of recognition would get under his old friends skin, therfore he drew out his smirk until his eyes nearly laughed. However the pause broke as Kaji playfully put the agent in a headlock, exclaiming out an exaggerated "Long time no see Kaeda!."
For it was all in good fun, and Konoha seemed to represent the opposite of all of Kaji's collected toils. For it's likeness, surrounded by nature...was truly Kaji's haven. A haven that held all of Kaji's loves; friends, students, and of course...sake.

Kaeda smiled lazily, and gave a loose salute. "Ah, you shouldn't just leave like that man, well actually you could but next time I just hope it isn't me that has to come get you, mm." She smiled and laughed as he put her into a headlock and joyfully told her 'long time no see.' She took his arm off her, and rubbed her knuckles hard on his head,
"Gah! You trouble-maker, you've caused a lot of worry in you absence!" She shook her head, "It's not that I'm not happy to see you or anything, but I'm not looking forward to paper work...and facing Tsunade-sama, man is she a witch... She lazily stretched back and rubbed her head with a long yawn, "Well I hope you didn't get into too much trouble while you were gone,"

The lightening air continued as Kaji's smile widened, his eyes shining in an unwavering display of friendship. "Pah trouble?" Kaji let out, his arms crossing. "I nearly died three times!" A laugh escaped his lips, and although he joked about it now- the experience's left their negative marks upon the Jounin. He continued to shake his head, the threats of Hokage-sama and paperwork were more than enough to make Kaji scoff.
The tea vile that had hydrated Kaji during the duration of the trip was long gone, and Kaji's mouth was parched...however not for tea. "Paperwork later, Sake first!" Kaji let out, rubbing the back of his head as he beamed another genuine smile at his former ANBU partner. "Konoha...seems, exactly the same as I left it." Kaji let out, shuffling his feet as he eyed a falling leaf. The gliding petal seemed to personify Konoha, the blade floating lazily. Kaji's eyes ceased to follow it's course, himself being easily distracted. drowsy billows of clouds seemed to blot at an all consuming azure sky, while twines of stationary blooms of sunlight seemed to emergy ceaselessly from the foliage. It all seemed to meld perfeclty into a single being, Konoha.
All was fixed, as if Konoha was transfixed in a motionless fragment of distilled time. The dealings of Shinobi were constant and changing, however Konoha...always remained the same. "So, what's there to do around here?" Kaji playfully jabbed at Kaeda, knowing she already knew where he was headed. "Man, I'm thirsty."

Kaeda smiled and rolled her eyes, "Fine, Fine, sake first then paperwork," Kaeda knew full well that she'd rather sake than paperwork anyday, as long as it kept her from having to do all that annoying paperwork was fine by her. She ambled along down the street with Kaji, with her hands held behind her back.
She yawned and lazily kicked a rock on the road. "Hasn't changed? Well, I guess not much has changed, there haven't been any wars or recent fights....or anything, I should be thankful since it means less work for me." Kaeda said with a slight shrug of her shoulders.
"To do? Same as always, some take care of there genin, others proctor exams, while others simply help Hokage-sama, or whatever else has to be taken care of...hmm" Kaeda followed her friend down the streets, of course it wouldn't take a genius to know where he was going and what he was after...sake.

A faint yawn escaped the wandering Jounin's lips, and although his body was fatigued and worn, his demeanor exuded an elated air. For his blade seemed to scare the sun's rays in it's wake, as it two seemed to be welcoming the site of Konoha. Kaji licked his lips at the mention of Sake, folding his arms in a satified expression. A sigh was exhaled sharply as he rolled his eyes as he remembered his Genin. "Hopefully those Kids won't be too mad for ditching them..." Kaji expressed, keeping his arms folded in contentment.
The Azure, crystalline presence of the sky now turned into dusks fire...alight with a passion all it's own. It melded with billowy clouds, creating a serene picture that was ablaze with beauty. A haze of anticipation clouded the Sojiro's mind however, wondering what Tsunade had in store. He was certain she would want a report of Kaji's dealings and newfound abilities, to keep in check the delicate system that made Konoha's innerworkings peaceful. However, the swordsmen was unsure how she would go about it.
No matter, the professoinal attitude that Kaji would have to mask himself with was necessary. And obviously his duty for Konoha came before Sake...sadly. "Actually, I think I should meet up with Hokage-Sama before I get a few drinks him me." He knew Kaeda would be surprised by his words. However it was a requirement, no matter Kaji's fondness of Sake.
As they continued to trudge on, Kaji inhaled deeply...catching a breeze that seemed to refresh every hardship that he endured. For it was cleansing, more so than any faulty medicine that the croning old Sojiro would provide himw with. A smile broke out at the thought, and Kaji slipped into a relaxed state that was non-existant for months.
