Where the Hyuuga members come to Train. The Hyuuga, the Clan with the most people, come here to Train.

(Should any other Hyuga care to post here, here I be... If not, I'll treat this as a pause moment before seeking out my Juunin sensi.)
Totora bowed respectfully to the Watchers at the gate of the Hyuga compound before hurrying inside, feeling their Byakugan eyes on his back, as he navigated toward his family's home, the compound relitively placid at this late hour. The lights glaring from the windows, damned him as late. Maybe he could sneak in... The figure of an older man in white and grey halted this train of thought decisively.
Izuma, Totora's long-time teacher and a trusted retainer of Clan Hyuga, looked down at his student over thick glasses. His hands signed rapidly, fingers conveying mild anger and disapointment, "You're late. Your mother is inside delaying the Clan Leader himself while you go eat shrimp ramen. If it was my place to discipline you..."
Totora looked down, shame flushing through his eyes, hands signing in return, "I am sorry, Izuma-sensi. I lost track of time. It will not happen again. Forgive my lapse."
Izuma's features softened a little, "If that new headband means what I think it means, you will have to seek the aproval of someone who makes my lessons look lax. For now, go on in, and explain yourself to your clan elders, young Genin." He waved at the lit home in front of them, a secret smile blooming despite the rebuke.
Totora bowed, warmed by the blessing, and entered the house.

Neji had been training since he had gotten up, many hours earlier, in the Juken style. Of course, it didn't really matter. He was only half concentrated on his training, other thoughts swimming through his head. He stopped for a moment, his breathing still steady, not heaving with effort after hours of training as most would have thought. He sighed, and leaned against a wooden pole that probably had been a part of some sort of foundation or building before. This was uneventful...

Totora entered the training area, sans his overtunic, having gotten up late after the party last night. Words were said. Yet more oaths of loyalty to the Soke house were sworn. A few small presents were opened, books mostly. It had all been very exhausting, very trying, and Totora was eager to blow off some steam in the training area. His 128 palms needed some work...
The deaf scion paused when he spotted Neji leaning against a pole, instantly on his guard. Neji was notorious for his tirades and attitude, and he didn't want any trouble. A monotone "Good morn-een, Neji." and a simple bow was his response to the other before he started doing a few basic stretchs, ignoring the other Genin.

Neji's eyes shot open at the sound of another voice, and recognized the kid... They said he was deaf. He remembered hearing about him, and wrinkled his nose as if something foul had just been put before him. He shook his head, muttering to himself, and turned back to his training. Basic Juken and advanced. His Byakugan wasn't active, not finding it neccesary when attacking a dummy. They didn't have chakra points... He had a slight hint of amusement at the thought, but pushed it away.
OOC: I admit, playing Neji after the two years skip was a little bit more pleasant, because he wasn't so stuck up, and whatever else. He was actually nice! XD Playing Kin with Kieda as Tayuya and Ichiwa was hilarious, though... *Tackles Neji*

(You wanted him.)
Totora frowned when he saw Neji's gesture of distain from the corner of his eye. That struck a nerve... He finished stretching and activated his Byakugan, veins engorged. This would let off some steam, could even be plesant. No one insulted him, and this Neji needed a lesson.
The deaf Hyuga scion turned to face Neji, taking up a jukken stance. "Spar?" came the question, flat, and emotionless, as his features. He stared into Neji's eyes, looking up slightly to account for his reliative shortness.

Neji turned around, surprised at the offer, and growled inwardly Fine. HE wanted it. He activated his Byakugan quickly, and took the position of Juken quickly. Best to finish this off now. "I'll give you the first move." he didn't bother with any hand shakes or bows. His eyes flashed, and stood lightly on his feet, ready to jump out of the way. He saw the chakra flow of his opponent, and targeted a few vital ones that would halt the flow completely.
OOC: Oooh, Neji is under-estimating Totora! XD Bad mistake, but I figured that's what he would do, with is "I'm superior." attitude.

( ) Neji was legendary among the Hyuga, and Totora knew he was outmatched, but not by as much as the other boy probably thought. Start off impressive because he wouldn't that kind of chance again. Good thing he'd studied Tekken as a back up style. For now though...
The deaf Hyuga rapidly made the motions to trigger Eight Trigrams 128 Palms. Time slowed down, the tempo blaring in his head, as his palms blurred towards Neji with spurts of raw chakra, Byakugan eyes directing his offensive towards points where nonleathel, but painful dammage could be caused. Two. Four. Eight. Thirty-two. Sixty-four. One-twenty-eight. The rythm pounded in his head. The world crystalizing around him for an eternity of perfect assault.

( ;D Have you forgotten my favorite move (or did I tell you)? Kaiten, Totora... Kaiten.)
All of Totora's hits seemed to hit, but a blue flame erupted where ever contact was made. Neji grinned, and released chakra, spinning his body like a top, creating a rotating whirl of chakra, intending to send Totora flying back. He ended the shield, and jumped back, waiting to see what Totora would do next. Yes, he had made an impressive move first, but he knew his plan, and Totora's tactics were a bit clear to him. He had his counter. He waited for Totora to make a move again, still holding his stance steadily.

Totora was sent flying, but mananged to roll with the impact of his fall and come up on one knee, hair ruffled. One eyebrow lowered, but that was the only outward reaction to the astute counter. Okay. Neji was THAT good. He charged in again, sweeping low with one foot tekken style, and spinning it up to a blazing chop to the knee jukken style. Mix and match.

Neji let the low sweep knock him over, and used his hands to flip over back onto his feet. He grinned, and rushed at Totora, at first rsuhing directly to his front. In a flash, he spun behin Totora, and and a small but intense burst of his chakra was released from his hand as he aimed at the base of Totora's neck. He had been aiming to knock him out, but it could also cause a few other varied effects that were quite effective.
OOC: The first move was inspired by the move in Neji vs. Naruto, where Naruto thought he had kicked him, and really Neji had just jumped, and flipped backwards. ;D

(Hmmm...)
Totora was able to see enough of Neji protruding from his blind spot to dodge away from the full force of the attack, letting the chakra spike earth itself in his left shoulder. The pain bit deep into his torso, and the deaf Hyuga scion reacted with a quick backhand punch to Neji's neck.
He tumbled away from his foe, rising to his feet and letting Neji come to him for once. Two could play at defensive offense.

OOC: Alright, one they start trying to kill eachother, then Aliana will pop up... And probably bash their two heads together for being idiots... XD
Neji tried to fall away from the backhand punch, but felt it hit, and grunted, rolling forward, and turning around to face Totora. He wasn't going to dive in like last time. Let Totora come to him. He glared at Totora, watching his body for a betrayal of movement. "It's useless. You can't possibly defeat me." he growled.

(Sounds like a plan... Let's dance.)
Totora tilted his head at Neji, outwardly puzzled, inwardly seething, intoning carefully, "Are yu sure?" He charged at Neji, jumping at the other Genin even as he triggered the Body Replacement Jutsu. His place was taken by a respectable chunk of stone from a nearby rock garden which hurled at Neji's chest with considerable force. Totora himself appeared to Neji's flank, tossing a Kunai so that would fly through Neji's most likely path of evasion.

OOC: Man that was smart...
Neji's eyes widened at the move, not expecting it at first. He had his hands ready to catch the stone, doing his best to prepare himself. The force of the stone was great, and he stumbled backwards, before achingly swinging the stone around to throw it at Totora.
The Kunai landed in between two of his fingers, and he threw it back, using Totora's move against him. "Smart move, but not quite smart enough." He grinned. "Once a failure, always a failure. That's the way it is." His smile was replaced by a frown again, as he resumed his stance, carefully analyzing.
OOC: You ever notice that when Neji sees an opening, his eyes widen? ;D
