(Sorry for the delay, kinda waiting for someone else to post if that was their wish...)
Taj swallowed his latest bite of ramen and shook his head gently, "Allow a pacifist a chance to finish his dinner before making him attempt to teach you some of the most aesthic katas this world has ever known. You must have paitience. One does not learn the Clematis, Larch, and Camelia in a day."
He raised one hand to forestall Yoh's disappointment, "But yes, both of our duties permitting, I will teach you the three Dances of Death I know. And perhaps a touch of philosphy behind them as well. Now, tell me more of your experiences so I know what kind of person you are, Kaguya Yoh of Konoha."

(who were you waiting for?)
"Oh right sorry," Yoh replied to him giving a small chuckle. Part f him felt embarssed for the out burst he did, but then again he was still a kid not like he did it on purpose. "Sorry about that got alittle to excited." he contined as he scratched the back of his head in embressment.
The young Kaguya then listen to the rest of what he had to say. A smile still on his face. His face then entered confusion when Kaj asked him to tell him about his experiances. "What you mean in missions orin life?" he asked wanting to know which he ment.

(Ame is in the bar, is she not? She might object to you going AWOL...)
Smiling at the reavealing nature of the simple question, Taj replied, "Whatever you feel is important to convey within the time I take to enjoy my meal. Then we can visit your village's training ground to see if you can apreciate the Dances for what they are... But please, indulge my curiousity if you will." The older Kaguya waved with his chopsticks and waded into his ramen diligently yet witout haste.

(Thats a trick question we're not in a bar lol)
"See if I can apreciate the Dances?" Yoh repeted in his head. Part of him confused they were just attacks right? Then again the guy said that there was a deeper meaning in them. He then listen to the rest of what the pacifist had to say nodding to him.
"Ok I'll just say my life experiances since the only mission I've been on was the training one I just did with my teammate here," oh began taking a quicke glace toward his team. "Well for the first eight years of my life I spent alot of time with my dad when he wasn't on missions. Sometimes we would just play a game of Shogi or we would train me in ninjutsu. Didn't have any friends my age then since alot of them found the Kaguya blood line creepy. The day I came back from my first day at the academy a friend of my dad's was there telling me that he was killed in his mission to the Stone Country." He paused for a moment finding it hard to talk about his father's death.
"When that happen I was alway depressed until I met my a kid named Kazuma, he was the first person my age who didn't think my blood limit was werid and actually understood what it was like to be alone since like me he was from clan that was killed. From then on I've spent alot of time with him having fun while still trying to become a ninja." Once he finished he then waited for Kaj to finish eating waiting to see if he had anything to say

(Tee hee. Ramen bar, right? Back. Sorry, shall we bash head, bone user to bone user?)
Taj slurped up the last of his noodles, having listened to every word and filed it away for every use. The quest for knowledge was the first step on the path to nirvana after all. Heh. Such a human Genin, one one the right path it seems. It was the little things that made the path of nonviolence tolerable. "I understand. Lead the way and I shall follow," came his quiet reply, the orange-garbed figure reclaiming the ringed-staff and getting to his feet.

(no tis a ramen shop not bar lol ;D and I'm glad your back)
Yoh watched as Taji finished his ramen, Part of him wondeing why everyone liked ramen so much, but then again wasn't his bussness it was just a sence of taste. He then nodded his head as Taji asked him to lead him to the training grounds. "Alright follow me," he said as got off the chir turning towards his team, "I'll see you guys later," he waved to them goodbye as he exited the ramen shop and headed toward the Training Ground. Excited that he was going to be learning the dances.
(ok I shall meet you in the training grounds)

Kidate padded softly into Ichiraku, before plopping down bonelessly in a stool. She was supposed to be meeting Ame here for a nice bowl of ramen and a chat. The two of them hadn't had much free time lately, what with the was with Sound, and the simultainous break was much appreciated.
With a quick word to the man at the counter, Kidate ordered her normal beef ramen and swiveled slightly in her chair, completely giving up the look of calm, collected Jounin. Patience was a virtue- just not one that this particular red-head had mastered.

Ame gave a sigh as she looked around the bar and all of her students were gone. She knew Kumiko and Todomatsu had already left to her knowledge, but she really wished Yoh would have told her where she was going, since it had slipped her mind to remind him where they would meet later for missions. She'd find him later and tell him, Those little kids better be grateful that I wont kill them for this, she sighed.
A familiar figure slipped into the bar and ordered herself some ramen. Instantly she recognized the person and smiled. "Kidate! Looks like you were able to get some free time after all," she said with a grin, "so how is the academy treating you?" she asked before she turned to eat the fresh bowl of ramen she was given.

Kidate smiled in greating to her friend, only to have it flipped into a frown. "Ugh, don't even mention free time. Since I don't have a genin team I've been absolutely swamped." She shook her head slightly, dark-red locks flying in all directeions. "I want to get a team if only to get a little reprive." She shrugged a bit, before grinning a bit at her fellow jounin. "How bout you? How's life treatin' ya?" Kidate asked, poking Ame lightly on the headband. "Heard you got a rowdy group for your shrimps."

(On the off-chance that someone other than staff posts here in the next couple days, Hokori is here.)
Hokori walked into the ramen shop, dirty, hurting, and low on chakra. The dummy was back at home, her teamate and sensi were Desert knows where, and she had the second most powerful sand Jutsu in the world to learn in a day and a half. All this after Enishi-Sensi tore her most important illusions apart...
If it wasn't for the fact she'd been wanting to learn how to use this Jutsu for a long time, she'd have just given up, gone back to the academy, and let it go at that. It would be restful, not like she had a reason to hurry anymore.
The Sand Genin mechanically ordered a plain ramen, paid her money, and took a seat. She cracked open the scroll, brown eyes scanning the item intently. One hand played with the bun at the back of her head, ignoring the other people in the restaurant.

Karin entered the ramen store, curious as to what the quality of food was like. Okay, so she was also hungry, but she didn't care what anyone thought. She took a seat at the counter on one of the stools. In fact, it seemed like the only stool that wasn't taken.
'Wow,' Karin thought, 'This place must be really popular.' She twisted around in the chair and soon, that seat was preoccupying her attention.
"Ahem," Karin turned to see an old man standing there waiting for her order, "I know you must like that seat, but I would be thankful if you would give me your order, first."
"Oh, right," Karin spun around, facing the ramen man. She gave a sheepish grin, "Sorry. I'll have wasabi-flavored ramen."
"Okay," the ramen man turned to start on the order. Karin then went back to her interesting activity of seeing how fast she could spin around on the chair.
'Just remember not to get sick before lunch comes,' Karin thought, pushing herself around.

Tenten rushed into the bar, dragging Katasuko along with her. She stopped only temporarily to catch her breath. Then she turned to the female sitting at the bar stools. "Excuse me, are you Karin Daidoji? Because if you are you have to come with me....I know this seems sudden, but you've been placed on a team, who is out in the Mist, and they need you to come as back up...I'll be assisting you as well," She said, facing the girl hoping she had gotten the right one.

Katasuko stopped when Tenten did and put his hand up, attempting to lean on a wall. As he started to lean to one side he stumbled over alittle and caught himself. "Just a few more weeks and this thing finally comes off." Katasuko spoke to himself while the small fox he created earlier jumped up onto his shoulder and rubbed against his cheek. He turned to where he heard the voices coming from nd he stood there not saying a word.

The Ramen bar looked pleasant. It smelled pleasant. The ramen here was the best. And logically, it was the best place to look for Kaji.
Normally, the sight of Ichiraku would have made her smile, stroll up to the bar ordering whatever type of Ramen she pleased, and slurp it up with good cheer. But now, her head hang low. The skies were beginning to cloud over. No smile graced her at that moment, for she felt tired, beaten, and utterly helpless. Totora had needed her to protect him. Now his chances of survival were minimal because of her stupidity. Because of her paying more attention to the Elite than to him. The Elite told her that they needed her, but that was out of the question now. She couldn't leave Totora. And she had to... to what?
Oh, right. Akki. Magasasu. Kaji...
The Jounin stumbled to the bar and seated herself and simply threw some money on the table. As long as it was edible and there was lots of it, she didn't care what they gave her. She needed food. The steaming bowl of ramen was put before her, and it wasn't long before she fell upon it like she hadn't seen food in weeks. Now, she was actually considering walking to the tavern. But no... Last time she did that, she downed so many tankards that Kappa had to drag her back to her quarters unconscious. Kappa... How long ago had that been?
Seven years? She knew it hadn't been that long since she'd had a drink. The Jounin had never gone more than a month without a bottle of Sake. She would go insane without it. Tonight, that's what she needed. Just a few bottles, to go home and drink her sorrows away. And then the hangover in the morning would teach her a lesson and bring her back to reality enough so that she would get to Tsunade-sama immediatly.
Ugh... Tsunade... That was not a pleasant thought.
Eventually, she pushed away the emptied bowl and had it replaced with another. She took this one a bit slower, and the bar keepers didn't speak to her. Aliana didn't know if she would have said anything back. All of the energy was gone. Totora... Oh, Atanashi's fang... She wiped away tears with the back of her hand and continued eating until her second bowl needed replacing as well, throwing a few more coins onto the counter.
More troubles. More pain. Another night.
It was going to be a long one.

Post by Kaji on May 7, 2007 17:08:51 GMT -5
Jet strands of hair swayed, as their ink-like color stirred in their obsidion nature. Konoha's honor kept the locks directly out of his eyes, however they still lazily hung loose near them. For the night was quite contradicting to his current mind-set, and the overcast sky seemed to disagree with the Jounin. Their conflict was apparent, as Kaji felt a few raindrops drizzle onto him. Kaji squinted upward, grimacing at the site of the precipitation as he bounded into the curtained shelter that was Ichiraku.
The familiariarity was odd, and the image of the old Ramen dealer seemed too surreal. The moment seemed to fade, omni-present entirely as his elation didn't grasp this reality. For he was here, and the aroma of Kaji's adored Ramen cirulated throughout his being. It was enough to awaken the Sojiro, and he smiled back at the others in pure bliss. This was what he lived for, and a cacoon of solitude seemed to embrace Kaji. He seemed to discontinue himself with his companions, embelishing himself in the moment.
Finally his eyes met with the old Ramen merchant, and they boomed in a cry of united happiness. Quickly, the Jounin scrambled within his pocket, ripping out a crafted pair of chopsticks; the very ones that graced themselves into a steaming bowl of savory noodles so many times. With an odd ritual, he held them up high, almost in a salute-like manner to honor the Ramen man. "Shiawase!" Kaji blared, smiling heartildly at the Ramen merchant.
Oddly, in all such excitement, and in a rather incondisderate nature, Kaji failed to notice the solemn Aliana that just so happened to present herself at the Ramen shop. It was a shame, for her known presence would simply add to the overall joy of the scenario, and in an effort of pure animation and motivation- he whipped a small coin sack from his pocket. It was apparent that it was given to him, and not of his own acquirement; however he flung it in the air, exclaiming to how ramen was on him.
It was an odd gesture, one almost unknown to the Jounin. However he was back, and it was time to pay back some long due debts.
