The main purpose of his opening jab was to provoke a reaction from the ANBU. When it came to close quarters combat, his main strength was the art of the counterattack. To take an opponents motions, no matter whether it was a defense or offense, and turn it against them.
Even as the Hyuuga reached for his arm, the first thought in his mind was, ...Is he trying to close my Tenketsu?... He didnt think so, but he was well aware of the fact that, besides their basic clan techniques, some Hyuugas developed their techniques differently than the rest. Even so, he figured it was worth the rest.
As the Hyuuga spun aside, his left fist clenched tightly at his side and his left foot slid across the ground as he spun forward, [which would leave the two pretty much facing each other, while Makoto still has his right arm grasped, and while Makoto's foot is in the air for the kick], and drove the fist powerfully into the other's gut. The other only being on one foot and likely off balance made the chances of sucess for that attack, higher than normal.
And if the blow connected? The ANBU would probably be lifted into the air a few inches from the punch and Isamu would blur forward with a burst of speed, his right knee arching to slam into the other's chest while he was in the air, off both feet... and send him flying.

Makoto bent over forwards slightly with the other man's fist in his gut, causing his own body to raise into the air from the force of the attack. He had little time to react after that, a quick smash from his knee sending him even futher into the air. And then, at that precise moment when he was in mid-air with his back arched, a cloud of smoke engulfed his body. The smoke quickly cleared to reveal a human-sized log in his place.
There was a barely perceptible distortion in the air above and behind Makoto's opponent, and then the Hyuuga himself popped into visible spectrum in the beforementioned position behind the other man. Without a second's hesitation, Makoto's foot was brought down in a powerful heel kick directed at his forehead. If it was successful, the strike would send him flying downwards, making him slam into the ground.

He realized the replacement jutsu had been used, and he barely had time to lift his right hand, which was already at chest level after the punch, and slide his forearm across his forehead. The heel of the ANBU's foot still smashed into his forearm, and his forearm crashed into his forehead, sending him flying back downward with a grunt.
Contorting his body, his head turned down to the ground and his left hand thrust downward, his elbow bending and tossing him upright about six feet away in a handspring to land softly. Glancing back quickly, he would leap forward at the moment the ANBU's feet was about to touch the ground. His left hand would hit the ground, and his right leg would sweep out swiftly, aiming to knock the Hyuuga's feet from under him before he had a real chance to land.
As his right leg completed it's course under his opponent, whether it connected or not, his left arm would extend, lifting his body into the air in a backwards somersault while his left heel lashed out at his opponent as well. At the height of his apex, he spun around, so he could land while facing the ANBU, the dark cloak flaring loosely around him.

The attack was, more or less, a success. Although the damage from the kick was minimal because the masked man had blocked it, the force had sent him flying down. This too resulted in failure, because the man had managed to keep himself from smashing into the ground.
With the insight provided to him by his Byakugan, Makoto saw the attack half a second after it was executed, and reacted appropriately. In this case, the proper reaction was to not react at all. The sweeping kick succeeded, knocking him off of his feet. The Hyuuga was in the air now, his left side facing the ground, with gravity pulling him downwards head first. Both arms shot forward, pushing off of the ground. Makoto was now in the air once more, but upright and able to defend himself. He caught the foot flying towards his face with one hand, and attempted to use his free hand to hit the other man's shin with a palm strike. If the attack should hit, Makoto's chakra would be sent through the tenketsu he had struck, causing chakra lines from the Inner Coils System to constrict painfully around his opponent's kidneys.

He didnt have the chance to leap away and face the ANBU like he'd intended, as midkick, his foot was snagged. So, before his right hand could leave the ground, the Hyuuga's palm struck his shin. In a flash, he realized what was happening, as an excruiating pain lanced through his body. ...so he IS different... he can affect the inner coils system, and not just the Tenketsu... Isamu himself studied chakra, and was more aware of the state of his own chakra than most people.
However, his left foot was free and it shot backwards at the Hyuuga's face, aiming to deliver a crushing blow. His intent was to free himself, so that kick was assisted by another action. From what he could tell, the Tenketsu hadnt been closed where the ANBU's hand was, and concentrating on that area, a burst of chakra would explode under the Hyuuga's hand, hopefully forcing him to release Isamu's leg.
With that done, he would indeed flip away once more, landing and crouching on the ground with his left leg resting on the ground. Right hand clutching his stomach, and his breathing heavy and painful, he reached up with his left hand and tossed away his mask and cloak. Underneath, the loose kimono with the ANBU armor underneath was revealed. The headband across his eyes was pulled down to rest around his neck, and his eyes, with three silver circles around each pupil finally saw the light. ...now, let's continue... At the moment though, he couldnt launch an attack, not only was he allowing his Dojutsu to activate, but the chakra lines that were wrapped around his kidneys had to be dealt with.

Makoto saw the incoming kick. This guy was good. Despite the pain brought on by internal injuries, he could still counterattack. Nonetheless, he could not block the attack in time. Instead, he lowered his head so the other man's sandaled foot would strike his metal forehead protector. With his rooted stance, it wouldn't have much of a knock back effect. The chakra burst, however, caught him off guard.
What the hell? Makoto's palm was forcefully removed from the tenketsu, and the before mentioned kick sent him flying backwards. He managed to push off of the ground with his hands and land on his feet, facing his opponent. He placed a hand on the ground as was sliding backwards, to slow himself down. He took a half-second to observe the other man in front of him.
He had now removed his mask, and the forehead protector covering his eyes. Makoto squinted in suspicion at the odd silver circles surrounding his eyes. His first thought was that it was a Doujutsu. Nobody in history has ever had eyes like that. But, it appeared it had not taken affect yet. Reaching into the pouch on his hip, Makoto pulled out four shuriken, each one held between his knuckles. He quickly flicked them at the other combatant, the pointed stars scything the air as they flew towards him.

One eye squinted slightly, he could only watch as the ANBU prepared his projectiles. With his right hand clasping his pain filled stomach, he attempted to move, but his left leg wouldn't support his weight just yet. ...A couple more seconds... His Doujutsu had three levels of activity, and he'd activated all three at once which necessitated a large amount of chakra, and a bit of time to be fully active. Because of that, he couldnt use chakra at the same time.
The only thing he could do as the shuriken whirred toward him, was use his right foot to propel him to the side. But, his movements were hampered by his kidney pain, and the chakra draining to his eyes. One shuriken whizzed by, clipping a couple strands of hair. Another barely missed, while the one right under that one thudded into the gauntlet on his right forearm, and the last one cut into the flesh of his left leg, a trickle of blood showing afterward.
His vision was starting to blur, but in a good way. The Hyuuga's chakra was starting to fade into view and his Inner Coils System, which Isamu could see, although he could not view the Tenketsu. In another few moments, the Doujutsu would be active, as well as his unparalleled mastery over his own chakra, and then... he would be fine.

What is he waiting for? He observed the other man's chakra flow with his Byakugan. Large amounts of chakra concentrated to the eyes...so it was a Doujutsu. But what did it do? If it made him this vulnerable prior to it's activation...it must be powerful. Once more reaching into his weapons pouch, he pulled out a Kunai. Tied to the knife was a piece of paper with script on it-an exploding note. Makoto tossed the knife at his enemy, purposely missing. The Kunai hit the ground a foot in front of the other ANBU. Makoto made a single handseal. "Activate." He said, becoming the first to speak since the start of the battle. The Exploding Note, for lack of a better word, exploded.

The exploding note did as was expected; namely - exploded. ...this battle is drawing too much attention... he thought.
The explosion threw up a cloud of dust and debris and it slowly drifted away to reveal... nothing. For whatever reasons he may have had, he discontinued the battle.

Ready for a journey to experience around all of the five countries. Bijuu have been sealed inside helpless genin that are now joining and fighting back against organizations that are after there power. Everything has passed since the bijuu were being chased by Akatsuki, now a new generation of ninja are born, Uchiha clan is now reborn, and you can possibly be the one that stops the next oncoming war and become number one ninja in your village. Rise to the top and you may be the next strongest of Shinobi Kingdom.
